I founded Coastal Kayak Touring Company in 1999 with a passion for kayaking and coastal ecology. My interest in kayaking was born at Project U.S.E., an experiential outdoor education organization in New Jersey. I discovered kayaking here on The Outer Banks through a five day tour we set up for adjudicated youth. Overwhelmed by the beauty of the Outer Banks as a kayaking destination I moved here a year later to pursue my career as a kayak guide.
Through the years we have gained the reputation as the Outer Banks' premier kayak touring company. We achieved this status through our commitment to service, ecological education and by offering the most diverse selection of tours on the Outer Banks.
