Duck is aptly named after the abundance of waterfowl that have always flocked here during migratory seasons. Located on the north end of the Outer Banks between Southern Shores and Corolla, Duck is a thriving year-round town as well as a vacation destination. Even with all the growth and notoriety as one of the best beach destinations, Duck has maintained its quaint, old beach charm.
